I bought My Heart Stood Still AKA Min Fray(Norwegian for My Lady) on September 29 2004 after many, many years of praying and dreaming, from a woman who had bought her for her daughter and was selling her because her daughter went from horses to quads. She was sold to me as '8YO Blue Roan mare named Wrangler' for 740$(I paid 270$ and my wonderful parents paid the rest). As you can clearly see she wasn't a Blue Roan and she wasn't 8 she was 5 but we've made it.
I had known Min Fray for almost a year before but I hadn't worked with her much so after I had bought her we did nothing but ground work for a year before I rode her and I think that helped us learn about each other. At that time I started calling her my little Lipizzaner because of her habit wile lunging she would jumping straight up in the air(sometimes higher than I am tall).
